Kissing In The Snow: A M/M Christmas Novella
Keeping to myself is a skill I’ve honed over the years. I work on engines, keep my head down, and mind my own business.
People don’t like me, and I don’t like people.
I knew the kind of man he was the moment I saw him stranded on the side of the road, but I still pulled over and offered to help.
Although I’m what most consider a grump, I couldn’t leave the poor city boy stranded when one of the worst storms I’ve ever witnessed was brewing. And it was Christmas after all.
Before the night was over, I was inviting a stranger into my home, and in that short time, he managed to make the walls I keep around me crumble.
When the storm passes and the light of a new day shines, I’m not sure I want him to leave though…
When I got the invitation to celebrate the wedding of my cousin, I couldn’t have been happier.
Although I love my job at the hospital, I needed a break, and I figured there was no better time then Christmas.
Only, snowy roads and a patch of black ice had other plans.
Stuck on the side of the road in a sleepy town hours away from all I know, I was sure nothing good would come of it. But when Dane pulled up and offered me his couch for the night my mind was changed.
After lots of conversation and a few drinks, feelings for this angry man started to form. I wanted to know him more, I wanted to touch him…
A single night was all it took for me to realize he has more to offer than his hard exterior.
But when the night passes and I’m forced to return to Sienna, I start to wonder if we can make this work, or if it’s better to leave the pieces where they lay?
